What does this mean in english? The larger your custom magnet is, the more magnetic strength it has overall. From our experience with the material, a 2"x3" or larger custom magnet will hold up a piece of paper on a refrigerator securely. The magnetic grip seems stronger when you let the top half of the magnet rest directly against the metal surface and the bottom half holding the paper.
It stands to reason that magnet shapes with the most contact area per square inch hold the strongest. Rectangle magnets and square magnets will always hold stronger than equally sized circle magnets, oval magnets, and die cut magnets.
